Recover your PolyCast5 from lockout online.
If you're reading this, you likely forgot the pin to your PolyCast5. Not to worry, you can recover it here. However, all user data will be erased for security reasons.
Open this page on a computer
Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a desktop or laptop PC (version 89 or later). Phones, tablets, and other browsers can’t flash firmware.
Plug in your PolyCast5
Connect it to your PC with a USB cable. Make sure the cable supports data transfer. A charge-only cable will not work.
Reboot your PolyCast5
Before flashing, reboot the device by pressing the Home and Right buttons at the same time. You do not need to hold them.
After, press the select button to go to the main menu screen. This makes sure the device doesn’t fall back asleep before flashing.
Connect to your device
Click Connect, then choose your PolyCast5 from the list. It usually appears as “USB JTAG/serial debug unit.”
Flash the firmware
Click Flash Firmware and wait. This takes about a minute. Do not unplug the device until it finishes.
All user data will be erased for security reasons. Afterward, your PolyCast5 will be good as new!

If your screen is blank, reboot your PolyCast5 by pressing the Home and Right buttons at the same time. This pushes it out of bootloader mode.
